We have many Small Groups and one that will be right up your alley; from youth to seniors, we have a group just for you. Don’t miss out on the chance to meet tons of new people and…“get connected.”
What are Small Groups?
A small group is an intentional gathering of people where you can connect with others on a regular basis who share your interests, who are at a similar stage in life, or who have experience in an area where you would like coaching.Join a Small Group
Ever Thought About Leading a Small Group?
A Small Group Leader is not expected to be a teacher or biblical scholar, a strong personality, the most popular person, or even an extrovert, but to have a heart to see others grow in the Lord.Start a Small Group
Here are some of the qualities we look for in potential Small Group Leaders:
- Openness to God. This involves being faithful, available, teachable and committed to personal spiritual growth.
- A group facilitator. We ask leaders to guide, plan and lead the discussion, but we help by providing the materials for the leaders.
- A shepherd. A leader should encourage, pray, listen and serve the group. A successful leader asks, “Are my group members well-cared for?”
- A multiplier. Keeping an eye open for potential new leaders within a group is one way that Small Group Leaders help launch new groups within our church.
